Aluminium is one of the materials we machine most often — light, easy to cut, ideal for precision parts in machinery, electronics, automation and the marine industry. At HARDPOWER we machine aluminium on lathes and a 5-axis DMG MORI milling centre.
Alloys and castings we machine
We work with common structural alloys: EN AW-6060 and 6082 (profiles, structures), 7075 (high strength — aerospace, moulds), 2007/2011 (free-machining) and 5083 (marine corrosion resistance). We also machine aluminium castings — single pieces and series. If no grade is specified, we help you choose one for the application.
Aluminium turning and milling
- Turning: parts from ø 15 to 750 mm, length up to 1240 mm.
- 5-axis milling: solids up to 750 × 600 × 520 mm, complex geometries in a single setup.
Aluminium calls for a different approach than steel — the right tool geometry, high speeds and chip control to achieve a smooth, burr-free surface. We do this every day.
Accuracy and quality control
We measure parts on a Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machine with accuracy down to 0.5 μm. A measurement report is available on request. We work to ISO 9001.
Finishing
Aluminium often requires anodising (hard or decorative) — we arrange it with trusted partners, so you receive a part ready to assemble.
