Why measurement is not a formality
For parts with tight tolerances and fits, a difference of a few micrometres decides whether the part will work. Measuring after machining lets us catch deviations before the part reaches the customer — and confirm that what came off the machine matches the drawing. It is a safeguard for both us and the buyer.
What we measure on — the coordinate measuring machine
We carry out control on a Mitutoyo CRYSTA-APEX coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with an accuracy of 0.5 µm. It lets us measure not only single dimensions, but also the geometry of the part in space — hole positions, parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity. That is a level you will not reach “by eye with a caliper”.

- fits (holes, journals, diameters)
- geometry: parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity, hole positions
- surface roughness (where required)
Measurement report — quality documentation
On request, every part can be delivered with a measurement report — a document confirming the measured values against the tolerances. This is especially important in demanding industries (machinery, automotive, energy), where not only the part counts, but also the quality trail.
